A year ago I turned twelve and I had my Bat Mitzvah. A Bat Mitzvah is a Jewish coming of age ceremony. The theme was ladybugs, and the food my mom made was all gluten free. We made; Miso soup, sesame rice noodles, stir fried vegetables, rice, almond green beans, cranberry spinach salad, ladybug crackers, and gluten free ladybug cake pops. My sister made a watermelon cut to look like a ladybug.
The ladybug crackers where glutino crackers with sun dried tomato cream cheese topped with cherry tomatoes and olives cut to look like a ladybug. The cake pops where Betty Crocker gluten free yellow cake mix made in a cake pop making pan. We dipped the cake pops in red colored candy melts and dotted them with chocolate. The party was a big hit and everybody loved my ladybug themed food.
